Pros

The original gorilla grip is just what i needed to catch excess litter from the litter box. Since it is waterproof, it catches everything. It’s worth the $$$$.

Perfect for my large liter box. Keeps liter from going everywhere. My cats zoom out of the liter box sometimes. I have a large cat who sometimes pees over the litter box.

Cons

It is so thin that the cats can just fold it up thusly dumping out all the litter bits it is supposed to hold. Still lots of litter everyway. This product is no better than a regular carpet runner.

This one has a better quality material, and a nice grip that my vacuum robot does not get stuck in which is a big plus for me.

I bought 3 of these because even though i use a good quality low tracking litter, 3 cats still track.

I can't say whether it actually grips the floor, but we have it shoved into a corner with the litter box on top of it, and it never moves.
