Pros & Cons
Pros
This is the first vacuum pump i have used for a wine bottle. Works great on 2 different cork types; old style gray and new style purple and blue. The stoppers are still fine. Put the rubber stopper in the bottle.
Cons
Threw this stopper in the trash. There is no ‘click’ or any sound at all while pumping. Seems to be related to the fact that the tops/plugs are visibly of very low quality.
It's cheap and wobbly. It loses is vacuum right after it clicks.
amazon is a ***y company. Horrible product. Not anymore. Unlike benson, i say that amazon is getting rich selling * like this.
Highlights
Quality
Very easy to use and preserves organic wines for days that oxidize more easily.
Super easy to use, and works great.
It definitely sucks air out and doesn't leak even when the bottle is laid flat, but the wine still seems to go bad after a day or two.
This thing doesnt work miracles but itll extend the life of your bottle by at least 3 days.
Price
We have a coravin collecting dust and it cost $150+.
Yes, they lose air-pumping efficiency, after thousands of uses, but this is a very cost-effective device.
Shipping
Wanted black but had to wait to long to receive.
Packaging/appearance
The only downside (not the product) is that the cardboard packaging came ripped and i needed to give this as a gift.
The manufacturer packaging was in poor condition when i received it, probably courtesy of amazon, but everything inside was fine.
Competitiveness
This pump takes fewer pumps to remove the air from the bottles compared to other pumps at the winery.
I'm also not so anxious to open up multiple bottles when i'm comparing two different bottles.
The price was also very reasonable compared to other products.

Anyway ive kinda noticed the pattern till it clicks so use this as a guideline if you open a new bottle pour one glass and cap it it takes 45 pulls to hear the clicks

If your bottle is nearly empty 1012 pulls

It’s some thing how you don’t notice how bad the one you have is until you get a new one
