The timer uses standard sized, easily obtainable batteries. Since it has an on/off switch, the battery should last a long time. The timer is very versatile.

It is simple to operate and commands your attention when it rings. The alarm tone is a good volume but not annoying like others. Bought two of them.

Use your own glue to reattach. The numbers are very easy to read and set up is intuitive enough. Strongly recommended at this point.

They come with a very nice detachable lanyard that runs through a hook in the top if you want to use it that way. The coolest part (for me) is that it has a magnet that holds it to the fridge.

The timer beeps for every minute. The display isn't great, but you can see the 'halo' of the rest of the digital numbers quite easily which is distracting. The start/stop button clears the display instead of restarting the timer.
