Pros

My 6 year old granddaughter loves these books with the pigeon. They are perfect for beginning readers. Once a child reads one, they want to read them all! My grandkids love the book! I love this series of books and so do my 2nd graders!

This pigeon is goofy and full of personality. It’s so cute & funny! I love how this goes into how owning a pet may not be all one thinks it is.

Enjoys exploring activities. Plus, it's fun seeing a bunch of kids rolling on the floor laughing.

Cons

He is awarded for his begging, whining and tempter tantrum. There doesn't seem to be a message or lesson in the stories. That is, turning the tables around to blame the other person with emotional manipulation and baseless accusations.
