Pros

The elf tangent and the sequel, the princess paradigm, are both very entertaining stories.

Lol there is still enough adventure to make it fun. Enjoyable romp through a mix of cultures. The humor and sarcasm is clever and spot one.

Lindsay buroker is a masterful story teller, without having disappointed one who reads constantly, (disabled military, retired) book 1 is still my favorite favorite.

Determination is the key to accomplishing whatever we set out to do. There is peril as they go back to the capital. We never really get into how messed up that is, but i guess it isn't too them.

Cons

Her desire for self preservation is non existent which i found annoying instead of endearing.
