Victor davis hanson is an exceptional historian and communicator. Hanson does an outstanding job of why the right general can change the direction of a war and, sometimes a civilization. Another great book by hanson.

Sherman, ridgeway, petraeus are loyal accomplished soldiers who served in greatest need. Thoughtful author showing off his broad handle on military history.
