Pros & Cons
Pros
Rick riordan weaves mythology into the story so effortlessly that you keep reading wondering what comes next. This second installment in the series pulls you in right away.

Competitiveness
The sea of monsters really focuses more on the characters and their growth than the lightning thief did, mostly through tyson.
He doesn't want tyson as a brother, but loves him as a friend, and sees the way tyson is picked on and bullied even by other campers.
