Pros & Cons
Pros
Salt, smoked paprika, and turmeric to tofu tastes just like the real thing. We're vegan and watched a cooking video online by seongkyeong longest and she uses this pungent salt with tofu to make scrambled eggs.
Cons
This stuff is absolutely disgusting. Smells and tastes like rotten egg. As it is, this one has sulphur in it and i'm allergic to sulphur.
Black salt himalayan salt is not black salt. This batch has something in it that looks like sand lumps when mixing.
Highlights
Quality
This is great product and tastes especially when added to various dishes.
Having various seasonings, techniques, and other ingredients on hand make it easier to do so.
I have tried to make tofu scrambled “eggs” for years but was sadly missing this gem and only learned of it recently.
I am not a fan of hard boiled eggs simply because i hate boiling and peeling them.
Price
Good value , regular size, smells and taste like eggs
Good quality product at a very competitive price!
Also, prices vary and i didnt want to waste my money on eggs for a basic scramble.
This one is a bit more pricey, but doesn’t cake and lump together like some of the cheaper options so i prefer this one.
Shipping
Will definitely be ordering more and it came fast.
Competitiveness
I dont have any other brand to compare it to since this is the first time i tried it.
