This book concludes the broken earth trilogy. The stone sky continues right along in the epic tale laid out in the first two books. Broken earth is a gorgeous trilogy, beautifully conceived and carried out.

This writing describes a future world where the earth has rebelled against the humankind abusing it. Mixes sci-fi and fantasy seamlessly. Offers a thought provoking take on our modern world.

That, is what makes a good read for me, one that engages me, and these books definitely did.
