Pros & Cons
Pros
Mark manson is a good writer, authentic/genuine. His sense of humour makes advice that could feel preachy actually quite entertaining and fun. The book teaches how to actually care about others.
This book is just what the doctor ordered! The author explains some, maybe not complex but profound, concepts around the way we evaluate our life.
Cons
Not a particularly interesting, insightful or innovative book. The books this one mimics were much better written and came first.
Old ideas repackaged with a * title. Self-important crude distillation of the current self-help obsession with acceptance. Any points or examples aren't counterintuitive they're mostly just obvious.
It is repetitive and boring. Mediocre advice.

Like he was trying too hard with the f-bombs.
Competitiveness
Seems like a great read for the price point.
