Faria passed away but before doing so he told edmond about an incredibly large buried fortune and edmond decides to replace farias body with his own which was then dumped in the sea and he starts his escape

The book is recommended to older than 18 years old but it is designed to treat a real life character with its nuances ups and downs and conflicts that apply to everyone so i do think that many young readers are willing to read this type of literature

In the evenings we discussed the book and at times i felt like i should have stopped my reading in order that she does not fall behind me in the book because otherwise we could not continue discussing it
