The story has intrigue, suspense and an unforgettable enduring romance. The author is able to do exactly what we crave and that is to be taken to a certain place and time. It is intriguing, angst, heartache and a twist of time travel.

If you liked a discovery of witches and/or outlander, this book is like a hybrid of them. Loved the angst and the mystery. While not perfect the characters are interesting and likable.
