Pros & Cons
Cons
Reading it was like dying a slow agonizing death. It isn't a bad read but it just wasn't that compelling. The only way i would recommend this book is if they were trying to be introduced to a science fiction theme of literature at a young age.
The margins are ridiculously wide - especially noticeable when reading this on a phone. The time traveller came across as a bit detached. A pity, since the book production is otherwise quite nice.
After he gets his time machine back from the morlocks, he goes even farther into the future to a place that i think contributes nothing to the overall story. He lands on a sloping beach and mentions that it has vegetation covering the entire surface.
Highlights
Quality
I saw no problems with the translation of the book and read it on my kindle.
The orignal, the classic the best time travel story evet!
By today's standards of explosions, nudity, and profanity, it's tame and slow moving.
Price
Bought for 13-year-old granddaughter, good price, good book, fast delivery.
