Pros & Cons

Pros

This is a fine, brainless read which is better than book 2. In my opinion, this is a much easier read than harry potter but it is just as enjoyable for both of us.

Percy, annabeth, and thalia go to bar harbor to help. It's hard out there for a demigod. I'm glad thalia did what she did in the end.

The characters' interactions are hilarious and you can feel the sibling bond between them. Sadness, happiness, excitement, and in the middle some humor for a small break. Full of plot twists and magical adventures.

Riordan does a great job of inserting small plot lines that with the characters that help add more gravitas to the overarching story. Once you get what he’s foreshadowing about, you’re like yeah!

The titan’s curse is a great 3rd book to the story. Children threw burritos and baskets of chips and sodas at each other, shrieking and screaming. In terms of deadly projectiles, it's right up there with grenades and cannonballs.

Cons

Most of the reviews are meant to be for the house of hades, not the titans curse. Percy jackson is a half-breed, only half human and sufferer of dyslexia, and adhd. It is queer that riordan should be so hackneyed in his writing.

Really the only issue i had was actually with the narrator, who is doing a fantastic job.

Price

Clarisse is already on a sneaky one.

Competitiveness

As always a great mix of ancient greece mythology and modern world.

The least the oracle could’ve done was walk back to the attic by herself.

Having read the first books would like to read the whole impre series!
