I love seeing toby in a different element but still resolutely determined to see the right thing done even when its not clear what that is or if its even possible

Also i quite enjoyed the novella at the end not just for being about growing up and responsibility in the aftermath of trauma but also for characters saying out lout that perhaps they should find a professional to talk to after everything thats happened

This is an excellent installment in the october daye series and there are at least two books in the series i have to go back and reread now
