Pros & Cons
Pros
Nava katz and her twin brother ari are two 20 year olds living vancouver canada. I love the relationship between nava & rohan - even though they both had some great and not-so-great moments in this book. Lily has a history with rohan that nava can... Read More
As the story progresses we learn a bit more about why she is the way she is, making it easier to understand her and even sympathise with her. She is snarky and fearless as usual but is fighting her own fears and feelings as well as the demons they are... Read More
The unlikeable * sting is book two in the nava katz series by deborah wilde. It is available on kindle unlimited, the individual books and and the 3 pack.
Deborah wilde's writing is quippy without feeling like you've fallen into a joss whedon tribute. Loved the storyline and use of mythological demons.
Cons
She is a damaged, self-deprecating, alcoholic. She surrounds herself with controlling enablers.
Highlights
Quality
Great interactions between nava, and other women who are not her mom or tied with the brotherhood in some form are always a win.
I am totally in love with nava.
All the characters seemed too one dimensional and i was not too comfortable with the writing style.
So i wasn’t initially thrilled with the first book but it started growing on me.
Price
Nava is hilarious and slutty and underestimated.
Competitiveness
She makes me laugh while she takes on the world.
This is a action packed, sex filled series staring a woman who is a smartass, kickass, take no prisoners kind of chick.
Rated: 4 starsthe nava katz series is one you have to read in order.
