Pros

Very popular in a preschool setting. Teaches better communication skills.

It is beautifully bound, comes with a cover, book is about 8 1/2 x 11. I like how it’s a block book so durable but still very good quality on illustrations. His illustrations are amazing and so unique.

Granddaughter loves the texture of the web. Wishes they had put more textures on the animals for sensory learning. Loves the embossing on the pages.

Cons

Another carle book, that was not clearly advertised as a miniature book. There is absolutely nothing in the description that mentions the size of the book. My son loves this story but this book is too small for him to enjoy.

It has double-ply pages, making it sturdy for little hands, but it is so tiny! It is very small, and as such the print is nearly illegible.

The very busy spider is is a spider ignoring offers by other animals because it wants to complete its web. The spider is rude and ignores everyone who talks to it because it is working too hard.
