Pros

There are two versions, one is the old one of course; the other one is re-dubbing. It has more authentic emotional resonance, whereas the newer on is rather histrionic. The original 2001 english dub is an audio option!

The blu-ray quality is great. Much clearer and sharper than the dvd version. Aside from one iffy part, this series is a classic for a reason and worth its asking price.

Cons

For me, this diminishes the value of a digital copy and is primarily what i'm paying for. Every time the male lead speaks, screams i flinch it’s just awful. I’m sure they got a lot further than i did, watching this dubbed. Highly disappoint about it.

It arrived on time in great condition.

Packaging/appearance

The bd-box cover is same as the original japanese bd-box one.

Mine came intact, which seemed a miracle, although a couple of discs had sprung the flimsy hubs.

Minor let down that digital copy is only on funimation, not other major players but still works well.
