Pros & Cons
Pros
The well of ascension is the second book in the mistborn trilogy. It follows vinn and the crew as they try to rebuild society after their successful assassination of the lord ruler.
Brandon sanderson is so gifted at changing pacing between books. Something about sanderson writing makes you go through a roller coaster of emotions.
It is truly something you should experience organically as you read the book. This is an incredible book.
Cons
In between every other sentence, the author repetitively (and tediously) explains how everything works. After that they carry on a 2-3 min convo and then resume the battle! Once the glossiness of the magic system and preliminary world building is over... Read More
Sazed is also a pov character, which excited me until i realised how much time he was going to spend being the #1 cheerleader for vin and elend's supposed epic love. You just about have the gist of far too large a slice of this tome.
The storm light archive has a level of maturity and thoughtfulness missing in this first series. While it's possibly realistic for past mistakes to keep biting someone in the rear, it gets narratively frustrating to read the same bad result repeat ove... Read More

If it's the first time you've read the books or delved into some of the phycological issues he covers then it might be 5 stars ... Read More

I stopped reading this book halfway through as i do with pretty much all of brandon sanderson’s second books in a series because it seemed to meander without much stakes and conflicts
