Craig schaefer knows his medium and knows it well. I devoured the six books (that have been released so far) in rapid succession. I am hooked on daniel faust.
The novella is about a man trying to get his comeuppance for a ghost. The book is based on a true story.
The plot is smoothly paced and some terrific action packed into it. Urban fantasy version of the sting, but with more r rated justice. A precious cinnamon roll with snarky, violent cream filling.
The white gold score is an excellent stepping stone to the world of daniel faust. Engaging and satisfying. Fast paced great moving adventure.
Cons
Same basic plot elements, but too predictable and with no depth in the characters.

Once i was done with the book it made me start up the series again.
This didn't feel inserted, everything flowed naturally with the time line and the plot was so damn good.

I hope to see more novellas in the future, and will continue to recommend the series in the meantime.
Competitiveness
