Like everything therm-a-rest makes, this is superior quality,

I also feel the advantage to closed cell over inflatable pads is durability you cant render these useless unless you try they laugh in the face of things that make inflatable pads cower in fear

We had a couple extra layers below and on top of the pads however so not sure how well it would insulate if we were only using a sleeping bag
