I am very happy with the quality and performance of this printer.
I've got a few of these label printers that work with the printermaster app, and they honestly all work good.
However, once i changed the print density setting from 6 (normal) to 15 (darkest), the quality was much better.
Print quality is good, you have several font choices, boarders, and can print symbols, upc codes and qr codes.

It does seem weird to me that it runs on a mini ubs cord as it seems like a more updated machine

In order to print you need to download an app to your phone and connect to the printer via bluetooth
