Power Supply Testing
Customers have mixed opinions about the Thermaltake Dr. Power III power supply tester. While some are pleased with its ability to test various power supplies efficiently and reliably, others find the instructions unclear and can only test power wattage for video card power lines. Overall, it is a valuable tool for testing power supplies and ensuring their functionality.
Highlights
Quality
It’s a reliable and efficient tool that makes psu testing straightforward and hassle-free.
Really does its job well, and gives live voltage readings.
It failed the pg test spectacularly - displaying an “f,” the backlight turned red, pg kept flashing, and beeping loudly.
The unit has poor instructions and you can only test power watage for video card power lines.
Competitiveness
Power iii is superior to those cheap psu testers.
I found it compared to the others instruments that it had a better readability in low light conditions.
I had a cheaper tester that looked like something out of the 60s.
