However i had to learned not to fill hot liquid right up to the caps rubber seal or else the thumb plunger wont push against the hot water vacuum pressure i just needed an eighth inch 18 of empty space between the hot liquid surface and the caps rubber sealgasket because the thumb lever needs to push the rubber seal downwards to release initial pressure

I fill it with sodastreamed waterand add two shots of roses lime cordial plus three or four ice cubes andthat keeps two of us going the whole night

Not as burning hot as the night before but hot enough that it almost burned my tongue
