Pros

This is the one i have been looking for. Searched all over the internet. Highly recommend it. I am so glad i was able to purchase one since they have stopped manufacturing them.

The top fits to a tee, so your beverage stays hot for hours and hours. Stays hot for almost 24 hours.

Cons

The thermos brand is basically meaningless at this point. We have other thermos nissan products that are exceptional.

I'm a procrastinator, so by the time i got around to looking into returning it the return window was way past. Also, the lid is very difficult to turn. The top is very difficult to tighten and loosen.

It's sturdy and well made, i highly recommend this product.

I use it with the rsvp manual drip coffee filter cone in my office.

I am not happy with the thermal carafe that comes with it.

The only redeeming quality i can find, the plastic non-removable top is at least flat, so you can do pour over directly into it.

Competitiveness

It's easy to clean, looks nice, and keeps coffee hot for hours (if you've pre-heated before adding coffee).

Answer:have no idea what a technivorm mt s is, but the carafe is exactly 7 form bottom to lip.
