Pros

It stays hot long enough for me to drink them. I drink a lot of coffee, and it's nice to have the last mug as warm as the first. The best way to do it is to first let it sit with some hot water, pour out and then pour in your hot coffee.

Feels durable and seems easy enough to clean. A bit fussy to clean, but no worse than similar products. Does what i need it to do, and has done so for awhile.

The 51 oz size is perfect for decanting from a 1. Liter keurig. I like the fact that it is not huge and does not take up alot of space on the countertop. The restaurant is popular with students.

When you pour, you push the lever and it pours nicely. Doesnt leak drip or spill when carrying.

Cons

Inside the very bottom of the thermos brand has progressively gotten darker and darker over time. It says it's stainless steel but the quality is very poor. Other stainless steel vessels used for coffee that have no such darkening issues.

The hissing is the hot air escaping from the unit. It also has an irritating dribble down the front of the carafe after each pour. The design of the lid is poor as there is no way to clean on the internal area inside the lid which is a small reservoir... Read More

It fits my needs quite nicely and i am satisfied with the purchase.

I love the quality and appearance and in particular it keeps hot beverages hot for a good 8 - 12 hrs.

I would have rated this a 5 except for what appears to be a problem with the seal, that i have had on both carafes.

Ordered on february 28, 2016 i loved it so much about the second.
