Pros

Bought this for my teen son. Works great for 6 yr old twins lunch box. This is the third thermos i have purchased for my dd.

I boil the water while i'm prepping the food and then let it sit in the thermos with the lid on for 5-10 minutes. I had a hot casserole for lunch! The only problem i have with this thermal food jar is the scraping noise when you get to the bottom.

Thermos holds a good amount of food and has kept his meals steaming hot for the 5 hours that he has to wait to eat lunch. Food is still almost too hot at noon lunch (put in thermos at 5:30am) and we honestly have not been kind to it.

Generously sized portion, seals well. The only problem with it is that the rubber seal on the cap keeps slipping off and it's a nuisance to put it back on.

Cons

Thermos brand thermos can't keep food warm for more than 3 hours. The lid will easily cross thread itself.
