Pros

The first one is 6 years old. The new one has a better slot that doesn't leak if it tips over when closed. Need a cup with handle due to spinal as.

The mug is almost perfect. The lever that opens and closes the spout is at the top. My husband uses creamer so i typically take his lid apart when i wash it and it reassembles very easily.

Cons

Thermos travel mug is too top heavy. Lid is very thick and limits fluid level to 2/3-3/4 of volume.

It’s absolutely leak proof as long as you close it.

I’ve had this version for nearly ten years, unfortunately today i noticed that somehow i’ve broken the vacuum (no doubt from abuse).

Price

Little pricy but the quality is great and well worth it.

Would have bought the lighter blue, but price was way higher, sad!

You can buy this cup with confidence, knowing that your $25-30 will last a decade!

Competitiveness

I've only found one that insulates better, but this is a keeper because it's probably the classiest looking mug on the market.

After side by side comparisons with half a dozen other travel mugs i found this to be at the top tier insulation wise.
