Pros
It beats the zojirushi on price by half, and the contigo on the lid design and durability. The newer version is imho a considerable improvement in all of these areas.

I'm thinking it helps with the heat loss but hope it lasts.
Have used these often and a great product.
I don't have a problem with this product.
There is no compromise on the actual water retention, it is just aesthetics with the plastic bottom.
Packaging/appearance
Holds heat for a long time and can be put into my lunch bag without the worry of leaking.
And it lacks a holder ring on the bottle too.
