Pros
This book plunges right into the action and pulls you along. I appreciate that the author did not use raw * and foul language.
The people are honest, hardworking, and easy to want to know. She makes them sooo realistic. One drawback is that nice the mystery is solved the book ends. Just to wrap things up nice and tidy.
The author seems very knowledgeable about horses, which made the book more enjoyable. It's full of my favorite things, horses and cowboys. There's a lot of horse-ranching in this book.
Cons
Steak-out” instead of “stake-out,” “couldn’t of shot’ instead of "couldn't have shot” are a few examples.
