Socks work wonderfully. They also help with the planter fasciitis. For the pair--< $7 for each sock. The socks provide adequate compression to eliminate foot swelling at night.

Use roller-balls, ice bottle rollers, and vibrating massagers (did it for me) to break that painful area over time. Thirty 48 for me seem superior to the others and meet my needs exactly.

Compression z offers much higher compression overall evenly throughout the sock. Now, the socks roll up at the open toe and the cuff. Other than poor quality the sock is really good.
