Bought this book for my grandsons 5th birthday. Will read again for 6 and 3 year old and short. In the meantime, our three year old offers these sequel suggestions (are you listening, adam? Purchased for my granddaughters. Bought for my grandson.

The zany imagination of this author and his zanier illustrator are a perfect match for a funny story. Once you get passed some of the oddities (like the name of the old man), it’s a very funny story with a cute message.
