Best feature of this flashlight is its selectable brightness levels. The brightest setting is very bright, suitable as a tactical flashlight.

It has separate intermediate mode - press the rear button for light on just while you are pressing - from constant on - press and click the rear mode button.
Thrunite uses economical aa batteries which have double the charge at the same price as aaa. No need to wait for an internal battery to recharge.
Cons
This flaw is quite disappointing and something i hope the manufacturer, thrunite, addresses for future models. The company makes assumptions by not including instructions. And to my knowledge can't be repaired.
I would expect more from a free flashlight that i won at a carnival. This model is absolutely atrocious.

Flashlight has 2 year warranty but no where does it list where to return for replacement.
Startlingly bright on highest setting i almost never use in order to save battery life.
Price
00 a piece, that's a significant amount of money.
A little pricey, but is worth it for the quality.

I sent it off, sent the company a photo of the fedex receipt, and i had my replacement within 4 days!
A brand new flashlight arrived in two days!
Packaging/appearance
This one arrived in superb packaging--surrounded by foam cushioning in a very sturdy box, enclosed in a custom-sized plastic bag.
So i do wish there had been info in the box for uninformed and clueless people like me (i may be the only one of course).

Unlike cheaper options, you don't have to cycle through all the various lighting options to turn it off.

So if the battery consisted of two 14500s or equivalent number of lion cells wired in parallel it could easily have 4x the battery life

My big question is why bother to make big proprietary battery that has 14 the capacity it could have when they could easily had come up with a 6400mah 3

It will take 2 aas but thats only 3v and if you use rechargeable aas were talking 2
