Pros

High-quality built, great functionality, good price - what is not to love about this? They are amazing. The combo is great. It works underwater too!

Many of the cheap led lights today have a very cool color to them, i suspect to wring out every last lumen. This is one isn't the brightest but it's built similar. Brighter and more efficient of course than my old streamlight of yesteryear.

The thrunite is skinnier so it fits in a pocket a little better. Comes with a wrist lanyard as well as a nylon sheath for a duty belt. Nice belt hanging case made of rip stop nylon.

I'm thoroughly impressed by this torch. There is just no drawback to this light. This is the light to have with you at all times -- and that tends to happen since it is so easy to carry.

The rechargeable battery rocks and seems to last longer than a pair of disposable 123as in the 6p. The benefit is, it saves you from accidentally activating it and burning your battery.

Cons

Tried cleaning it, taking the cap on and off, tightening the tailcap retaining ring. When it goes out i am out. Fell about a 18 inches onto concrete and gave up the ghost.

Not impressed with product. Do not buy. Save your money, this brand is *.

The light is so bright that it will burn you if it's on full blast in your pocket. It still works but its so dim that it basically only has firefly mode. Would not buy another light from this manufacturer, going back to the competitor.

Then a friend introduced me to the thrunite products.

Beam cannot be tightened like a maglite, but it's light and every bit as sturdy.

It will also take ivory button top or flat top battery a nitecore p12 will not.
