Pros

Represents a good value cable vs ones that cost twice as much. Price is good and charges my phone.

It is a little pricey, but it's true thunderbolt 3 cable. The nekteck thunderbolt 3 to faster usb 3. Cable also works with usb c devices. Ordered this to play around with the oculus link beta.

It seems sturdy, but i can't speak to long term durability. Seems pretty durable. I wish it was braided so it would be more ressistant to bends.

Cons

Doesn't charge macbook pro (2016 thunderbolt) from apple or any other charger, doesn't do data connection. All this cable does is the same any usb-c cable does it is not thunderbolt 3. Basically a useless cable.

And a much lower price than the brand name cords (you know who you are).

I use the cable to connect to a lention usb-c hub and get 90 watts of power and send 4k hdmi, 200 mbs ethernet, 2 usb-c signals for 2 ext.
