I've bough whichever brand of detergent was cheapest for many years, and after using them all i found that i prefer the ones without perfumes/dyes since i hate the smell of all fake scents, and that tide cleans my clothes noticeably better than any other brand while also causing the least amount of color fade and damage to the fibers so my clothes/socks last longer before needing to be replaced.  Read Less
