I didnt buy this product because its free and gentle and know thats probably the main reason most people look for products of this nature

I tried it because i have a standard top loading washing machine not a newer front loading high efficiency he model and consumer reports rated this detergent highest of those tested for standard top loading washing machines in their august 2014 report

He laundry detergent can be used in standard washers but standard detergent should not be used in the he washers
