Pros
The effect is not gimmicky where i would tire of the look after a few shoots. Gives nice cinematic effect to images. Adds a subtle film quality to shots with my x100f. Only downside is the case situation.
Cons
When pointing it into light sources there’s this truly horrible reflection/ghosting effect that ruins shots. Lacklustre build quality and flaring meant that i couldn’t use this for most professional applications. Full price is not an acceptable price ... Read More

This is the best filter i have ever purchased.
I’ve been using this a lot for videography and filmmaking recently, and it’s a nice addition in the right situations.
First impression of the filter does feel like i received an old and used item because the lens looks mouldy with smudges.
The sun becomes a huge white blotch in the photos and can ruin them.

I’m glad a sprung for the extra money for the tiffen product.
Packaging/appearance
I think 1/4 is my way to go, loved it but the packaging is very poor, could be damaged in shipping easily
But i just received mine and it’s brand new and in perfect condition.
Competitiveness
Other companies have now come out with their own version but it never comes close to these filters!
