Pros

Black paint seems to scratch off pretty easily but it's not a deal breaker. The polarization works better than i expected for the price. One less chore to neglect. Even if just to experiment for fun.

The cpl is quite good maybe a bit expensive. I like to support specialty stores but that is a bit of a markup. Well respected brand.

Cons

Filter has no effect on any photos to stop glare. Save your money and just spend it on a good quality hoya filter once. This is not a cpl filter but rather a useless uv filter.

Quality

Filter works well, threads on cleanly, and rotates smoothly!

Very good product for any camera lens

Don't understand how there are so many reviews saying this cpl doesn't work, or is poor quality.

Thats so wide, you really have to pay attention when your turn it, as there just is no way you can get complete coverage.

Price

I got this at an excellent price, and it does make the skies bluer, and colours richer, so i'm quite happy with it.

Really really glad i checked the 'new and used' section to save about 15$!

I purchased a 72mm tiffen polarizer last november from a camera store for $150.

12$ cad) for this filter new fulfilled by amazon warehouse deals because i assume someone ordered it and canceled it.

Shipping

Although it did not arrive when it should have it was worth waiting for!

Took a few weeks to get, but got to use it last weekend at the cottage and works great.

Packaging/appearance

However, the box packaging looks cheap almost like a knock off.

Not sure whats with all the negative reviews about packaging, but filter is in pristine condition.

Competitiveness

Seems as good as every other circular polarizer i have ever owned.

I have not done my full analysis compared with 6 other brands including canon.

If you need a filter and have the money to buy it, then don't buy other brands.

I was less than impressed by a cheaper polarizer i'd bought a while back, and decided to try another model.
