Rounded, sleek style. Also, pro tip out there. I have short nails so that isn't a problem. I own the previous model too and found it very durable.
The regular rice setting is actually quicker than my old tiger was. Cleanup is easy because it is very non-stick. Washing is a breeze.

My old zojirushi rice cooker finally died after 20 plus years.
Although i have a multi-cooker (you know the one), i still make rice in a dedicated rice cooker.
The rice cooks at the conventional time—this doesn’t speed up the process.
Thought we wanted a zojirushi, but this might be better.
