Pros & Cons
Pros
It cooks rice perfectly, better than i can recall ever having. Not too soggy, not too chewy, just right. The timer function is awesome.
Price is quite high for a rice cooker, but this is definitely in a league of it's own. It has a lithium battery soldered to the board just like all the others. There is another model in the same family that has a non coated lid.
Highlights
Quality
The timer function was easy to use and the gaba rice setting worked to perfection.
The quality is great and the rice cooked by the cooker tastes pretty good so far.
Nothing stuck together and it broke apart easily when stirred.
That means the rice cooker timer is a pain to use after 3-4 years because you have to set the clock each time you plug the rice cooker in.
Price
Expensive, but you may as well go all in if you expect great results.
The price is quite high for a rice cooker, but this is definitely in a league of it's own.
Shipping
Delivery was on schedule and in good condition too.
It arrive withing a coii you ple of days and had no problem returning it for the smaller one.
Competitiveness
I have not used for other functions like bake a cake with the rice cooker but i know the tiger brand is the best on the market.
I am from japan and tiger is the best brand for rice cookers and other appliances.
I have had other brand rice cookers before but nothing compared to this particular tiger brand 5.
The other two popular brands had a major flaw- the timer battery is soldered to the motherboard.
