The cooker senses when the rice is done and switches automatically to keep warm mode. My one and only complaint is that the keep warm feature doesn’t deactivate if the pot is removed and the lid is closed.

This rice cooker has multiple functions so it's more versatile than less expensive, rice cooker only models. Might even look into purchasing on the the ih models next.
