Pros
I've tried equal parts rice to water with basic short grain and medium grain rice; it always comes out great. You can also use this cooker to make veggie rice.
The whole cooker is easy to wipe clean & dry, and non-stick coating made it simple to wash without scratching. Cleaning is easy, and i'm really pleased with the quality cook on the rice.
The cookbook is limited, but it was a nice doorway to japanese cuisine. The boil/steam function is great for soups or steaming something. The synchro cooking function is extremely timesaving.
Cons

Not worth the headache, better to spend a little more and have your item last longer. Apparently predicting when rice is going to be ready is not a definite concept.

I did a lot of research on what rice cooker to buy and i'd say this is the best rice cooker for the price.
I’ve only used the small cheap ones so i don’t have anything else to compare it to.
