Even Cooking
Customers have generally positive feedback on the even cooking aspect of the Tiger JKT-S10U-K 55-Cup Uncooked IH Rice Cooker, with many praising its ability to cook various types of rice and dishes consistently well, while some are still learning to use its features. The rice is described as perfectly cooked, springy, and holding its shape better than previous cookers. Some customers also appreciate the convenience of cooking multiple dishes at once using the synchro-cooking capability. However, a few have noted minor cosmetic issues with the cooker.
Induction Heating
Customers are generally positive about the induction heating feature of the rice cooker, praising its fast cooking time and ability to maintain even heat distribution. However, some users have reported a buzzing noise from the machine when the lid is opened for extended periods while it's still plugged in. Additionally, there seems to be confusion regarding the product description and California Prop 65 warnings.
Durability
Customers generally have a positive view towards the durability of this rice cooker, with some expressing satisfaction using it for years. However, a small percentage of customers reported issues and experienced product failure within a year.
Build Quality
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the build quality of this rice cooker. While some are pleased with its great quality, others have noted cosmetic issues and manufacturing errors. Some customers have compared it to Japanese-made appliances and found it lacking in terms of quality.
Highlights
Quality
The unit operates quietly, the inner pot is very thick and durable, and the unit cooks with great consistency.
Really nice product, well made and easy to use and no rice kernel is wasted.
The tools are not finished well on the edges and that is a manufacturing error.

A little pricey but an investment for the kitchen and cook in the house.
Shipping
Two days later, the replacement cooker arrived, which was still shipped in the original product box, sigh.
I will give the product 5 stars and give amazon's delivery a 1 star.
So two months after it arrived, three nights ago, it did the deed.
I returned the first rice cooker and complained to amazon customer service, who promised that the replacement cooker will be sh... Read More
Packaging/appearance
It had all of the tape and styrofoam packaging and the bubble wrap was still around the end of the cord.
The corner of the box and the protective styrofoam was crushed and split open.
Our unit did have a couple of cosmetic blemishes due to the packaging and shipping.
There were a bunch of tapes band aided around the box.
Competitiveness
We was impressed because this price cooking is way better than the tiger mi-com rice cooker that we had.
Anything else is as good as tigher products.
A comparable zo unit would cost +200 dollars more.
I was deciding between zojirushi, tiger, and the cuckoo brand.
