Pros & Cons
Pros
Great thing about tiger is it's excellent customer service. Very good price for size. Easy to use and clean.
Rice is such a simple food medium yet no one outside of asia can figure out how to keep rice warm without spoiling it. Even with my messed up lid that will pop loose once in a while, i still get 5 days.
It's a fabulous addition to a gourmet or a single persons kitchen. It cooks just one 6 oz cup of rice perfectly, every time.
Cons
When the rice starts cooking, steam comes up and covers the whole top of the outer lid. It leaks water over the top and the rice overflows to the interior top surface, which should catch the residue.

Highlights
Quality
I will say this is a really quality product.
Tiger one-switch is the classic, extremely simple-to-use and highly durable japanese rice cooker.
Steam is escaping from all sides and the lid is extremely hot to the touch.
This rice cooker is made in japan.
Price
It works as advertised very reliable good price i would buy it again.
You would think that a product of this cost would last longer as well as be safer.
(i'd even spen $250 for it, for it would still be worth it)
First of all, i thought the product is too pricey and over rated.
Shipping
Really love it and received it in a timely manner
Packaging/appearance
Perfect condition, packed in item box and a factory tiger shipping box.
Competitiveness
Then i bought another brand (aroma) and it did not make good rice whatsoever, despite the raving reviews.
I found this one by going to asian markets and they told me this was the only one they used.
I also use it to make other box rice (dirty rice, black beans and rice ext) and it cooks it better then on the stove top.
