I think people might expect too much from it sometimes bluetooth is still a limited technology compared to say gps so it only works close quarters

Tile also have the problem that apple limits the bluetooth use of background apps and stops it for completely closed apps

Therefore tile is not really any good for being notified of a wallet you left at the cafe for example unless you are regularly opening the app making ios allow the app access to bluetooth
