Pros & Cons
Pros
Aside from that minor nitpick, this is probably the most durable and comfortable pair of boots i own. The padding is excellent and it is a very nice looking boot.
The leather is waterproof, plus there's a waterproof membrane. All the main leather sections are sewn with two or four rows of stitching. The 12 in these is a little large with regular steel toe boot socks, but just right with heavier winter socks.
A little lighter than the red wing and a little heavier than the danners. The stitching, materials and overall build are very rugged. They are a bit heavy to use for day-to-day or hiking use, but look good enough to wear anywhere.
Cons
The heel squeak is just too much to put up with all day long. It’s a shame since the boots are otherwise phenomenal. My coworkers already know to avoid them after hearing them squeak every day.

Competitiveness
I'm very pleased with these boots, timberland pro has been my go-to brand for a lot of years, and these are as good as any i've ever owned.
Sizing is comparable to red wing and danner.
I have some pictures comparing the right boot i wore for roughly 7 months and the new one.

They are waterproof and solid steel toe
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
They really do have a stylish air to them but not that of a boot that is just trying to pose as a serious work boot
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Rather they have style as he by product of the seriousness with which they were made for the working man who is going to need steel toe boots at his job
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Id recommend them for hiking but at three pounds a boot you are going to give your legs a workout doing any sustained hiking

Still the three pounds may be worth it if you are going to be trampling through rough and wet mountainous terrain
