Constructed of a high quality leather exterior with good stitching throughout. The color is a darker brown similar to a dark brown beer bottle. It's a matte finish, not shiny, but it's definitely not distressed looking at all like in the photo.

Despite other reviews the wallet is very slim, too slim in fact, and dinky quality. Card slots are so tight i must force the cards in and they are very difficult to get back out. Frustrated with the quality of the product and will return it.
