The black ones have a neoprene section connecting the zippered sides making them a bit harder to put on

The gusset in the zipper does not have enough material if you have the boot tight and only unzip then they are very tough to get on and off

And the gusset on the tongue isnt tall enough if you are expecting them to be waterproof all the way to the top well they are not
