Pros

Waterproof liner feels great, not like the cheap coatings that flake off. It’s durable and well made.

I love timbuk2 bags and this one doesn't disappoint. I can fit everything i need on the daily into here without compromising sanity. You will not be disappointed.

The bag has great velcro and snap clips to secure the contents. One small gripe is that with the buckles under the flap now, the webbing attaching them to the flap can get snagged on the loop side of the velcro on the body of the bag.

Perfect for student cyclists or skateboarders going to a cafe. The bag is nice and light without the bulky laptop slot that many of the ready made bags come with. It feels nice and stable while walking or biking and is easy to plop in/out of a car.

Cons

The overall quality is inferior to the bags i've owned in the past. The new one just has a divider and now they want $25 for warranty repair!

This is a robust, well made bag that just doesn't quite make sense. Nothing like being in a theater, needing to get something from your bag, and making a super loud ripping noise. It's useless and cumbersome.

The inside of the bag is extremely unstable. It folds in the middle like a soggy taco. You really cannot put a laptop in the bag unless you sit it down.

There is truly no padding for the laptop, unlike in some other similar timbuk2 models.

One negative that they need to improve, the bottle holder pocket is absolutely too small for anything but a 20oz bottle of water.
